• January 2nd 2012, well we had a great Christmas and New Year period, now the cold light of January has hit us, we are going to work on getting some new material in the set.

• December 23rd – Good fun as always at the Kirkby Overblow Christmas Party last night!

• December 5th – Excellent and fun gig at Kork’s in Otley on Saturday night just gone, except we nearly lost our power when one of the guests got a bit over-excited and decided to throw wine all over the stage! Looking forward to the legendary Kirkby Overblow Christmas Party on the 22nd.

• November 27th – the Violets are gearing up for a busy Christmas Party season, Korks in Otley, The Shoulder of Mutton in Kirkby Overblow, and the Cedar Court Hotel in Harrogate to name but a few!

• November 27th – Nice gig at the Harlow Inn last night, to celebrate Beckwithshaw Cricket Club’s excellent season, and also for our bass-player’s birthday!

• November 20th – great gig at Hampsthwaite Memorial Hall for the local football club last night – crowd were fantastic! Who was the fella careering round the dance floor on a serving trolley?!
